Lewis Company was founded in September of 1973 with its primary
mission being to provide consulting services to Texas
financial institutions. Formerly known as Coy Lewis &
Associates, the Company's services include
organizational studies, policy design and
implementation, employee benefits evaluation, salary
administration, performance appraisal, and consulting
specializing in, but not limited to, the area of
compliance with regulatory and equal employment
opportunity practices. The Company's client list of
financial institutions includes those having assets in
the multi-billion dollar range as well as the smaller
community banks. Other clients consist of operating
companies in such industries as manufacturing, health
care, engineering, funeral service, distribution,
insurance and
credit services.
The Coy Lewis Company was highly complimented
when it was invited by Texas A&M
University to train visiting officials
and managers from the Bank of China on the
techniques of managing and new compensation
concepts being used in the United States. Since
the Bank of China was a State owned Bank, it was
interesting to note that many of the visiting
officials were keenly insightful in learning
how our American Bankers managed staff and
rewarded individuals for performance.
The Coy Lewis Company has been an endorsed
vendor for the Independent Bankers Association
of Texas for 15 years. Also, Coy Lewis was
presented the first IBAT President's Award in
2003.
Coy Lewis has served as an expert witness for the Texas
Attorney General's office in the defense of four
employment law claims resulting in summary judgments for
Texas.
